I started collecting Muscle and Fitness, Flex, Ironman and some of the other bodybuilding magazines around 1985.
I remember Clifta.
In the early 90’s, Clifta Coulter started appearing in Flex magazine as well as Ironman, Muscle and Fitness and others.
In 1996, Clifta turned pro by winning the Overall USA Championships.
She competed a bit and then changed directions in her life.
Clifta began to immerse herself in her personal training business and in her love for horses.
Time went by.
In early 2009, I began working with Clifta on the business side of fitness.

Digital book readers could soon become the ‘next big thing’, as new models with new features are released this fall.
If you doubt that the shift to electronic publishing is happening, check this out. According to Amazon, the digital version of Dan Brown’s new thriller "The Lost Symbol" is outselling the paper version at Amazon.
Basically more people are buying the downloadable, Kindle version, than are buying the print version - at least through Amazon.
What makes this more amazing is that there are only 3 million Kindle owners! Imagine what would happen if there were 100 million ebook readers out there.
This is good news for info publishers of all sizes. If the trend holds, it means that when ereaders are mainstream, digital books could be major sellers.

According to Internet entrepreneurs Brock Felt and Buck Rizvi, products sold online
can be divided into four categories:
1 - Products that alleviate the prospect’s pain.
2 - Products that solve a problem. (example: www.outdoorfitnessgames.com - trainers who need ideas for their class)
3 - Products that give or enable pleasure. (example: www.bodybuildersreality.com or www.fitnessandfigurereality.com - these are entertainment videos)
4 - Products that prevent a problem or condition.
Of these, #1 and #2 are the easiest to sell, because people feel an urgent need to solve the
problem or get rid of the pain.
Pleasure is desirable but its attainment is less urgent, making products in category #3
more difficult to sell.
Products in category #4 are the most difficult to sell-because, as health marketers have
long known, people will buy cure but not prevention.

I received a new product this week called ” InVINCEable - True Natural BodyBuilding” by Daryl Conant.
Chances are you’ve never heard of Daryl Conant.
Neither have I.
The product is a homemade binder which contains “pounds” of information - written, pics, diagrams about the great trainer of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s named Vince Gironda.
“The Iron Guru” was trainer to celebrities and stars at his Hollywood gym called, “Vince’s Gym” Daryl has created this product and sells it for $99.00 It also comes with a DVD (see pic below) which Daryl and friends illustrate exercises from the binder.
Vince use to have training systems called ‘Master’s Series’ and ‘Pro Series’ 30 years ago for his students. The retail price for both of those systems 30 years ago if you ordered from Vince would have cost you $300.00.
