As I’m always saying, there are a ton of opportunities in the Fitness Industry.

And technology has given “the little guy” the ability to level the playing field with “the big boys.”

You can use YouTube to build a worldwide audience.

YouTube is now one of the largest search engines.

YouTube doesn’t care whether you are just one person or whether you are a big corporation.

You can participate.

This means that if you live on planet earth and you know how to help people get in shape, then people can find you if you use YouTube.

So when someone uses Google and types in:  “cedar park texas boot camp”

My fitness boot camp will come up first on the list (not talking about the PAID FOR ADS but the top listings for those search terms)

As a fitness professional, you can teach people how to get in shape.

It’s the best feeling in the world.

And you can help MORE people by using technology.

You can promote yourself, your website or your exercise /training DVD’s using YouTube.

Then you have enough money to create your own exercise/training DVD?

If you have a computer, does it have Microsoft Word installed?

If it does, then you have a tool to write your own book.

If you don’t have Microsoft Word on your computer then you can get a free software program called “Writer” at http://www.openoffice.org/

It’s all free.

DO YOU GET IT?

If you are contributing content (pictures, posts, video links, articles, etc) to one of the big fitness message boards then you are helping them make money.

“Content is king”.

And you are doing their work for them.

The more free content that you give them, the more money they make.

The higher search engine ranking they get.

The more members join.

The more supplements are purchased (this is really what they are after).

They want you to buy their supplements.

They want you to provide them with content so people will visit their message boards more often.

The longer people stick around, the more apt they are to buy.

Sure, you can gain exposure from these message boards.

But if you still have your day job then you should question what you’re doing in order to “live life in your own way.”

I’m after doing things my way.

I don’t want to have to depend on anyone for anything.

Ever.
