One of the quickest ways to achieve your bodybuilding and fitness goals is to seek out someone who has already done what you would like to accomplish.

Back in the 90’s when I was competing in bodybuilding, I went to the biggest guy in the gym, Mike Scarcella, and asked him if I could be his training partner.

Mike laughed a little.

He laughed because he was asked this all of the time by guys who either couldn’t hang or just never showed up for training sessions.

Mike was serious about his training.

He gave me a shot, though, and said to show up the next day for “Leg Day”.

I showed up early the next day.

And I kept showing up.

For the next 1 ½ - 2 years.

Mike went on to win the Mr USA, Mr America and other titles.

He was on the cover of Robert Kennedy’s Muscle Mag.

He was an awesome bodybuilder and was an expert at the sport.

He helped me tremendously , encouraged me and supported me.

He was my mentor.

If you want to pursue bodybuilding, fitness or figure competition – seek out a mentor.

Like Monica Brant or Adela Garcia.

These ladies are the best in the world at what they do.

There simply is no comparison.

We live in a time where trainers and competitors toot their own horns and proclaim themselves to be experts but in reality, there is only one Tiger Woods, one Monica Brant, one Adela Garcia.

Their records speak for themselves.

They compete in the most well known organizations and at the highest levels.

So if you’re going for top results, hire the person at the top of the heap.

And if they are unavailable for personal mentoring, inquire about hiring them via telephone or email consultations.

And if you’re a business minded bodybuilder, fitness or figure enthusiast who would like to turn your fitness passion into profit, then use the same philosophy.

Find someone who is the expert, someone who is doing what you would like to do.

If the “expert” is still working a full or part time job outside of the fitness industry, yet proclaims themselves as an expert, question this.

For me, I sought out Joe Vitale - a best selling author and marketing genius.

Dr. Joe Vitale

He walks the walk.

He’s a billionaire in the making.

He’s goal is to become the first trillionaire.

Why not?

I’ve seen Joe’s career go to the next level in the last couple of years and yet he’s still the same grounded unassuming gentleman.

And he’s relentless about setting goals and then pursuing them.

He enlists the help of “Titan’s, Tycoons and Billionaires” whether they are dead or alive.

These 3 understood that “world class wealth begins with world class thinking.”

“Wealth is the product of a man’s capacity to think.” – Ayn Rand, author, philosopher

“If you got out of bed this morning and went to work because you wanted to, you are in control of money. If you got out of bed this morning because you had to, money is in control of you.

Even in the wealthiest nation in the world, 99% of the population is being controlled by money.

The effect is lack of money.

The cause is thinking.

Albert Einstein said, “a problem cannot be solved at the level of consciousness at which it occurs”.

Knowing this, champions raise their level of consciousness by studying how the world class creates wealth.

The middle class believes formal education is the answer to acquiring wealth, yet very few academics are wealthy.

They seek advanced degrees and certifications and are confounded when these things don’t bring them riches.

While the great ones are strong advocates of higher education, they don’t believe it has much to do with acquiring money.

The middle class trades time for money.

The world class trades ideas that solve problems for money.

Money flows like water from ideas.

Money drips ever so slowly when you trade time for money.

We all have our own thoughts.

Our mental food.

We are what we eat.

But if we are disengaged and are not utilizing our “billion dollar thought processing system” to create wealth and fulfillment, what’s the point?

The masses are not mentally engaged.

They’re watching television and traveling the path of least resistance.

Meanwhile…millions and billions are being made, problems are being solved, and passions are being followed.

Fulfillment is realized.

Money is used to help the needy.

And the circle is formed.
