I was watching a special about John Mellencamp last night on VH1.
In his early years, John was known of course as Johnny Cougar.
He hated that name.
But it was either accept it or go back to Indiana and “pour concrete”.
He accepted it.
And look where he is now after 35 years in the business.
A Rock and Roll hall of famer.
At one point, John recalls how he paid $35 for 60 minutes of recording time.
He came out of that with 3 songs.
That was his first demo.
He started sending the demos out to record companies and got rejection letter after rejection letter.
He says he was rejected by each of the record companies 10 times.
But he didn’t give up.
He simply repeated that process.
During this time he was broke, married and had a kid.
He’s had numerous top hits since.
Because he held on.
He stayed with his passion.
In the documentary last night, John said “Don’t give up!”
Too many give up on their passions and dreams.
How about you?
Have you given up on your bodybuilding, fitness or figure dreams?
Are you “tolerating” a 9-5 job?
Would you rather follow your passion and reap the rewards?
John’s advice was to “paint fast and make mistakes”.
Too many never release their work (fitness book, manual, video, etc) because they think that it has to be perfect.
Wrong.
Just get started.
Think of it as a test to determine how badly you want it?
Do you want to succeed?
Do you want to follow your passion (and profit)?
Do you want to determine your own life and not let someone else ( a boss) do it for you?
I’ll be releasing my new product before the end of this year that will catapult you beyond all of the mistakes that I made when I first started in the lucrative bodybuilding, fitness and figure product creation (ebooks, DVDs, etc) business.
Stay tuned!

P.S. My friend Joe Vitale held his 3rd or 4th Rolls Royce Phantom Mastermind last night. One evening of tooling around in his 2008 Rolls Royce Phantom, dining out, cigars, drinks (optional) and business and marketing guidance to the lucky 2 who took him up on the offer.
How much?
$10,500 per person.
It was probably worth 10 times that…
